🎉 Congratulations — Your Offer Has Been Accepted!
So your offer has been accepted — but what happens next?
Often, contracts are first accepted verbally by the seller’s agent while signatures are still being gathered.
Until we have an executed contract (meaning it’s been signed by both buyer and seller), the agreement isn’t legally enforceable.
It’s important that all signatures are received as soon as possible.
Step 1: Send the Contract to Your Mortgage Lender
Once the signed contract is in hand, it needs to be sent to your mortgage lender.
If we’re your Realtors, we’ll take care of this for you.
This step notifies your lender that you’re officially under contract and kicks off the process of moving from
pre-approval to full approval.
Be prepared for a lot of paperwork! Some lenders joke it’s like getting a
financial colonoscopy — not optional, but required.
The faster you complete their requests, the smoother the process will go.

Step 2: Schedule Your Home Inspection
This needs to be done as soon as possible.
📞 Please contact us for our list of recommended home inspectors.
Step 3: Watch for Our “Next Steps” Emails
Once your contract and inspection are underway, we’ll send friendly reminder emails every few days
with additional next steps — think of it as your personalized “homework list.”
These updates help ensure everything stays on track for a smooth, stress-free closing.
We’re here to guide you every step of the way — let’s make this home officially yours! 🏡
