Closing Day — Almost There!
Closing day is almost here! Whoo hoo! The title/escrow company will handle your signing and make sure everything goes smoothly.
After closing, the title/escrow team will email us both a copy of the settlement statement (ALTA/HUD) showing the exact breakdown of closing costs. They will arrange for the payoff of your existing loan from the closing proceeds.
If you are receiving funds back after your loan is paid off in full, title/escrow will either wire those funds to you or provide a check for pickup at their office—whichever you prefer.
Quick tip: For any wire, call the title/escrow company at a known number to verify instructions. Do not rely solely on emailed details.
