Accepted Offer — Next 24–48 Hours
Congratulations—we’re thrilled for you! After a verbal “yes,” both parties sign the offer. Once fully executed, we’ll send the contract to the title/escrow company and set the clock on your inspection period (starts the next business day per contract).
Earnest Money (Buyer Action)
Within 24 hours of contract execution, the buyer must deliver earnest money (office drop-off or wire) to the brokerage or title/escrow listed in the contract. This good-faith deposit is credited toward the buyer’s down payment at closing.
Wire Safety Reminder: Always verify wire instructions by calling the known phone number of the title/escrow or brokerage. Do not rely solely on emailed instructions.
Status & Scheduling
- Once earnest money is received, we’ll update MLS status to CTG (Contingent).
- We’ll cancel future showings and any scheduled open houses.
- Inspection period typically runs 5–10 business days (check your contract for exact deadlines).
- Title/escrow is opened and we’ll coordinate next steps (buyer inspection scheduling, access, timelines).
